Living in Europe for a total of over six years has provided me with unique opportunities in language, culture, study, and in teaching German, French, and English. I’ve taught privately and also in the classroom at the high school (Florida) and at the college level (Europe).
I have a degree in German and a degree in French from The University of Rochester, where I graduated Cum Laude and was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship. I lived and studied a year each in Strasbourg, France and Cologne, Germany. For over nine years, I made my home in Maastricht, Netherlands. It’s about 2 miles to French-speaking Belgium and about 20 miles to Aachen, Germany.
Now, for over a year I live in Strasbourg, France, we are on the Rhine River, across from Kehl, Germany.
